Old York Road Raiders Coaching Staff |
The following is a list of our team coaching staff for the 2008-09 season. The Old York Road Raiders will name head coaches for each level when participation levels are confirmed. Again this year the Raiders will continue to stress a uniform player development philosophy utilizing many non parent coaches and trainers. All coaches are USA Hockey certified and members in good standing.

Hockey Director
Chalie Sgrillo has over 20 years of experience instructing ice hockey
and roller hockey players in the Philadelphia region. Last year, Coach
Chalie served as the PeeWee A head coach. In the past, Coach Chalie
has coached teams from all levels from Tier I, AAA to Tier II teams
to Developmental teams to Instructional programs. While coaching Roller
Hockey, he was the Head Coach of the Team USA 16U Inline National Team
and went to the 2005 World Cup Championship. Currently Coach Chalie
is coaching the FREE Ice Hockey and Developmental programs as well as
the Complete Player clinics and assisting Raiders Youth Hockey Teams.
Additionally, he held various hockey clinics at the Rink as well as
serving as the Raiders’ ACE Coordinator.

| Coach Vince Malts |
Coach Malts is returning as the Raiders summer clinician. He has run several camps during the summer since 2003. Coach Malts began playing hockey as a Raider and continued to work toward a hockey career playing for Hull Olympiques (QMJHL) and eventually getting drafted by Vancouver Canucks in 1998. Since, Coach Malts has played professional hockey and is presently plays for Rockford Ice Hogs (UHL).

| Coach Justin Adamski |
Coach Adamski is a born and bred Raiders goalie, player, and coach. He has over 22 years playing experience including the Raiders Finland and Russia exchange team in the 1990’s. He was our PeeWee AA head coach last year. Coach Adamski has been a goaltending coach for several other local High School, Junior Varsity, and Club teams, as well as clinics and camps. Coach Adamski is married with a daughter and three sons, one of which has been a Raider.

| Coach Craig Campagnolio |
Coach Campagnolio has many years of experience coaching hockey players on and off ice. Coach Campagnolio served as the Squirt A head coach. In the past, his teams have included the Delco Phantoms, Little Flyers and Princeton Tiger Lilies earning 5 District Championships going on to the National Championships each year. In 2004-05 he coached with the PTL 19U to a Bronze Medal at the National Championships. Coach Campagnolio is married with two sons that are Raiders.

| Coach Rob Cherney |
Coach Cherney is a Raider and original Roadrunner born and bred. He played for the Raiders for over all of his youth career eventually playing Junior B. Coach Cherney has taken his experience and given back to the Raiders program as an assistant and head coach for the past 25 years serving last year as the PeeWee B head coach. In 2006-07, he served as an assistant with the Bantam A team. In the recent past, he has assisted at the PeeWee AA and Midget A teams. Coach Cherney is the complete embodiment of what being a Raider is about.

Michael Petruchansky - Goaltending Assistant |
Coach Petruchansky is in his 5th season with the Raiders having served as an goaltending assistant last season with several teams including the Midget team. Previously he has served as an assistant with the Bantam AA team for one season and at the PeeWee level for two seasons. Coach Petruchansky’s brother, Bobby, has been a goaltender with the Raiders for three seasons.

| Coach Phil Pulley |
Coach Pulley is entering
his 6th year with the Raiders serving as the head coach for our Midget
16A1 team last season. Additionally, in 2006-07 he was the head coach
for the Bantam AA in 2004-05 as the PeeWee A (4th Place - DVHL) head
coach and head coached the 2003-04 DVHL Champion Squirt A’s. He
has coached several years locally at the Mite and Squirt levels. He
has coached boys and girls teams that have competed at the Tier I and
II levels including international tournaments. Coach Pulley is married
to Mrs. Coach Pulley and they have 3 children, two are Raiders and one
is a Jr. OYRSC Member.

Coach Michael Ryan grew up playing in the Boston area for the Hyde Park and Dedham Youth Hockey organizations. While playing he was coached by former Boston Bruins Head Coach Mike Sullivan. When his family relocated to the Philadelphia area, he played his final year in youth hockey with the Raiders. Currently Coach Mike has assisted with the Mite and PeeWee levels. Additionally he has helped or has been the lead instructor for the FREE Ice Hockey, Learn to Hockey Skate and various clinics and camps held at the rink.

Raider - K9 |
Coach Raider, formally with the Ice Dogs, offers each player love and compassion in the dog eat dog world of ice hockey. During Coach Raider’s tenure as a dog, she was known for being a puppy in the locker room, but a hound dog on the ice, laying strong licks on the opposition. When it comes to barking out plays during practice and games, Coach Raider is no pussycat!

| Coach Chris Seamens |
Coach Chris has been coaching
for clubs and rinks for many years in the Philadelphia and Washington
DC areas. He returns as a full time Raiders coach serving the Midget
16A2 coach last season and the Bantam A coach in 2006-07. Currently
he is also the Upper School Head Coach with Chestnut Hill Academy. In
previous years, Coach Chris has coached for various local club teams
including the Little Flyers Girls 16U, Univ. of Pennsylvania Women’s
team, a coach for AAHA’s Chicago Showcase Girls team and with
the Princeton Tiger Lilies Girls 16U. He has also been a Hockey and
Program Director for local rinks. Additionally, he held various hockey
clinics at the Rink and has served several positions on the Raiders
Board of Directors.
