Hockey Programs

The Rink at Old York Road, in association with The Raiders and The Renegades proudly present to the community our Professional Ice Hockey Programs. With sessions year round of all skill levels, we make it easy to fit fun and learning into your family schedule.

  • FREE Ice Hockey
    Your Home of FREE Ice Hockey!
    Old York Road's FREE Ice Hockey program is for players 12 & Under (1998 Birth Year and younger). And yes! It really is FREE!
    • Along with teaching our younger players the basic skills of Ice Hockey, we provide a safe and fun atmosphere for the whole family. You don't even need to know how to play, just skate. We'll take care of the rest!!

    Hockey Camps and Clinics
    The up to date hockey camps and clinics information is now available for the 2010 season. Check it out and come have a great time with our professionally trained and certified staff!

  • Adult League Hockey
    Think only kids can have fun in our leagues?
    Think again!!! Come out, have some fun and get some great excercise with our Adult Hockey League for the 2010 Spring Summer and Fall seasons!!
    We've reserved some prime ice sessions in order to accomodate both the family and working man's (and woman's) schedule! Spots fill up fast!! Call now for details on starting your own team!!

  • Fall Competitors Edge Clinic
    Coach Justin Adamski has been with the Raiders program for many years, both as player and coach. Coach Adamski’s Competitors Edge Clinic is designed to improve the individual skill set of participating players with an emphasis on skating acceleration, skating strength and on-ice agility.
    Progression drills and quality repetitions are the key to developing stronger techniques. This will give the PeeWee age and up players an “in season” competetive edge on the competition.

  • Beginner & Intermediate Skills Clinic
    Our Beginner and Intermediate Skills Clinic are designed to enhance the skills a player needs to participate in hockey at all levels. Our Youth Hockey Coach Justin Adamski, along with our other Raiders Coaches will instruct your player in this high tempo, instructive and fun environment.
  • Men's Hockey League
    We are pleased to announce the forming of a
    Men's league to begin in the fall of 2010. Players who have played any level of college hockey are urged to join and continue their college hockey career in a competitive

    Figure Skating Programs

    Our comprehensive Figure Skating Programs provide both adults and children the best instructors in the area. From double and triple gold medalists, to World Championship coaches, you will get the best coaching available in a safe, fun, and inviting atmosphere. Freestyle, Ice Dance, Coreography - We provide it all with over a quarter century of professional and certified coaching experience!

  • Learn to Skate
    Our Learn to Skate classes are for Children and Adults. Classes Held on Wednesdays, Saturdays or Sundays.

  • Adult Learn To Skate
    Our '18 and over' Learn to Skate classes for adults are held every Wednesday.
  • Excel SkatingProgram
    The OYRSC program for all of our more advanced Figure Skating Members. Come to where the blade meets the ice! Held every Wednesday night!
  • Old York Road Skating Club
    The Old York Road Skating Club is an active club, both competitively and socially, and welcomes skaters of all ages and skill levels. Our Club is affiliated with US Figure Skating, the national governing body for the sport of figure skating in the United States.

  • USFS East Coast Basic Skills Series
    Take part in this innovative and unique Basic Skills Competition. Skaters will participate in 3 competitions and the skater with the most points in his/her level at completion will be rewarded with a trophy for their hard work and dedication!

  • We would like to welcome Raoul Ignatz as our new General Manager for
    the Rink @ Old York Road and Director of Hockey Operations for the
    Rinks at Old York Road, Warwick and Lehigh Valley. Raoul comes to us
    with a wealth of hockey experience including his current positions as
    the Men's Varsity Ice Hockey Coach for Saint Joseph's University and
    Director of Planning for MACHA the hockey conference for the South East
    region of the ACHA.. He can be reached at 215-635-0331.
